This is a small, cat only practice, so this page is short. It says what we collect when you talk to us through this site, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Two things. What you type into the chat with Sophie on this site, and what you send through the question form on the contact page: your name, how to reach you, your suburb if you give it, and what you tell us about your cat.
What we use it for
Answering your questions, and arranging grooming appointments. That is the whole list.
We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Sophie, the chat assistant
Sophie is the assistant in the chat on this site, not Sandi herself. She answers about this practice and nothing else: hours, services, coat types, how a visit works, how booking runs. When she has not been told something, she says so and points you to Sandi.
To write those answers she uses an AI service, so what you type in the chat is sent there. It goes with the same set of facts about the practice that Sophie works from, and with nothing about you: no name, no phone number, no history of anything you have typed before, because there is none. It is used to write that one reply and for nothing else.
Nothing you type into the chat is stored on this site. We do not sell it and we do not use it to advertise to you.
The chat is a way to ask a question, not a place for anything sensitive. Type into it what you would happily say over the phone.
The question form
On the contact page you can send Sandi a question, and it is also how a first session starts. It collects your name, your phone number, your suburb if you give it, and what you ask.
That goes to Sandi as an email so she can call or text you back. It is not stored on this site, and it is not used for anything else.
Booking
A first session starts with the question form above, or with a phone call. Sandi calls or texts you back and arranges the session with you directly, so nothing you send from this site goes to a third party booking system.
Asking about your information
Phone Sandi on 0488 155 534 and ask what we hold about you. If you would like it removed, say so on the call.
Where we are
Sophisticated Manes is mobile: the grooming happens in the trailer, at your place. We are based in Officer VIC and work across South East Melbourne. We do not publish a street address.
Changes
If any of the above changes, this page changes with it, and so does the date underneath.
